MONITORS

Corrosion classification coupons are used to characterize the destructive potential of an environment and to verify the need for or effectiveness of chemical filtration. Purafil offers a variety of coupon types for various environments and applications. Purafil’s copper and silver coupons are helpful in determining the level of acid gases, including chlorine gas, present in pulp and paper mills as well as other industrial applications. Use Purafil’s copper, silver and gold coupons in applications where instrumentation with gold-plated edge card connectors are present. Purafil’s Silver 6-Pack includes six silver coupons designed to monitor contaminants specific to museum and preservation environments. The following is included in Purafil’s coupon analysis report: photograph of returned coupon strips, corrosion film thickness on coupons, information on general classes of gases present, and estimated concentration levels and humidity effects.

OnGuard 2000-INS (Intelligent Network Station)
The OnGuard 2000-INS can be used in applications were an external PC/DCS serves as the interface to the OnGuard unit or to a network of units, and where the need for controlling and monitoring the OnGuard unit itself is not necessary. The OnGuard 2000-INS offers all of the features and functions of the OnGuard 2000, except for the LCD display and keypad. Available as optional features: 4-20 mA multiplexer, differential pressure sensor, and relay output. Replacement copper, silver and relative humidity sensors are available separately for reorder.

OnGuard 2000-RSM (Remote Sensor Module)
